Howdy y’all, we are back from Texas. My husband and I have been talking to eachother with accents since the trip, be glad you don’t have to listen to us! Haha. It was an exhausting last little bit with getting up super early for our flight, a travel day, and then reconnecting with all our sweet kids. Of course some unpacking and laundry too. Definitely happy to have that time away with just my husband, we hadn’t been on a trip that long since our honeymoon 12.5 years ago. But it’s also great to be home.

I have made the executive decision to retire from my 100 day project. We have more showings upcoming and a lot on the go with getting ready to move and I realized I need to make things manageable and also enjoyable for myself.

I will be returning to my regular once per week posts with art journal content and also whatever else I may be working on or feel inclined to share. The above photo is my latest painting. The plan is to have a bird in flight, as well as hollyhocks and roses over the green area. I’m planning to do a series which I’m tentatively naming ‘On Earth as it is in Heaven.’ So stay tuned, and I will share progress pics as I go.
