As promised, I am sharing some more of the mini art journals I have been making. These have been such an enjoyable art form for me, I could probably make a hundred of these little books and still not get bored of it. I love being able to combine unexpected colours, patterns, and textures. I’m not exactly sure yet how what I am learning through these mini compositions will show up in my other work, but I am excited to see what emerges. I have been trying out so many different techniques for making my own collage papers, which has been such a fun process too. If you are someone who likes trying ALL THE THINGS, then art journaling is definitely something to consider!
